Data were collected via an anonymous cross-sectional online questionnaire from 724 first-year undergraduate students at three universities in China. Measures included physical activity, interpersonal competence, campus exercise atmosphere, and social adaptation, together with demographic covariates (gender, age, major, urban/rural residence, BMI, and prior exercise habit). The package contains the anonymized dataset, a codebook describing all variables and coding, and the R analysis scripts used for the reliability, common-method-bias, correlation, mediation, moderation, and moderated-mediation analyses. No directly identifying information was collected.
