<dc:description><p dir="ltr">The study was conducted during the NORC2024-01 spring cruise (April 12-29, 2024) aboard the R/V Lanhai 101. A total of 24 sampling stations were established across the three transects (Bohai Sea, North Yellow Sea and South Yellow Sea), covering 32.97-39.58 N and 119.01-123.98 E (in decimal degrees). At each station, surface (approximately 3 m) and near-bottom (17-78 m) seawater was collected and filtered through 0.22-um pore-size membranes to enrich microbial biomass, yielding 48 metagenomic samples in total. All samples were sequenced using a 150-bp paired-end strategy on BGI high-throughput sequencing platforms and quality controlled by fastp. Based on this dataset, we performed per-sample assembly, multi-sample binning based on cross-sample coverage profiles, genome quality assessment, dereplication and quality filtering, constructing a genome catalog comprising 2603 high-quality MAGs for downstream analyses.</p></dc:description>
