This marker-clean release contains 6,114 reference sequences: 392 bacterial 16S rRNA sequences, 4,500 fungal ITS sequences, 792 oomycete ITS sequences, and 430 viral genome or genome-segment sequences. Ten bacterial false positives representing 16S rRNA methylase or methyltransferase genes were removed. Fungal and oomycete records were reduced to ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 with ITSx, and bacterial records were reduced to 16S rRNA regions with Barrnap. Nine fungal records without a reliable pure ITS interval were excluded; no catalog entry lost all reference sequences. The package includes sequences, prebuilt BLAST databases, taxonomy, the standalone web platform, sequence and validation data, curation records, analysis code, README, LICENSE, and CHECKSUMS. Rendered manuscript figures and figure-generation code are intentionally not included.
