The CSV clarifies the fixed trailer-manufacturer frame, distinguishes name equality from identity confirmation, removes an unscored false-positive claim, and clarifies that a missing code does not rule out a separate search by Chinese registered name. See the accompanying correction note. The public file contains aggregate counts, not individual query responses or independently validated identities.</p> 2026-09-24T07:21:52Z Dataset Dataset 10.6084/m9.figshare.33390454.v3 https://figshare.com/articles/dataset/English-name_lookup_rates_for_Chinese_manufacturers_NHTSA_vPIC_frame_August_2026_/33390454 CC BY 4.0
