<dc:description>
This dataset contains the primary laboratory research data supporting the thesis titled 'THE ROLE OF PURMORPHAMINE IN ENHANCING SECRETIN MEDIATED SYSTEMIC METABOLIC HOMEOSTASIS'. The research investigates the therapeutic potential of purmorphamine (Pur) as a positive allosteric modulator of the secretin receptor (SCTR) in addressing obesity-associated metabolic dysfunctions. The dataset encompasses both in vivo physiological phenotyping and in vitro cellular and molecular assays. Specifically, it includes comprehensive metabolic monitoring records—such as real-time energy expenditure, indirect calorimetry, infrared thermography, and glucose/insulin tolerance test results—collected from diet-induced obese (DIO) mice. Furthermore, it contains cellular bioenergetics data (e.g., Seahorse oxygen consumption rates), gene expression transcripts (RT-qPCR), protein quantification images (Western Blot), and flow cytometry records derived from brown adipocytes (T37i) and cardiomyocytes (AC16). These files collectively demonstrate the mechanisms by which SCTR allosteric modulation coordinates brown adipose tissue thermogenesis and cardiac metabolic flexibility. All data are organized by figure numbers and provided in standardized formats to support reproducibility.
</dc:description>
