Supporting data for “CENP-A suppression for epigenetic correction in hepatocellular carcinoma” Bingfeng Li (13736470) Nikki Pui Yue Lee (9050855) Tan To Cheung (9053291) Cancer cell biology Epigenetics (incl. genome methylation and epigenomics) CENP-A HCC ferroptosis <p dir="ltr">This dataset contains research data supporting Chapter 3 of the PhD thesis “CENPA suppression for epigenetic correction in hepatocellular carcinoma.” It is organized into 34 folders corresponding to individual thesis figures (Figures 3.2.1–3.8).</p><p dir="ltr">The dataset includes de-identified clinical and clinicopathological data from a hepatocellular carcinoma cohort; analyses of TCGA-LIHC and other publicly available cancer datasets; quantitative and imaging data from in vitro cell experiments; and data from in vivo xenograft studies. Experimental techniques include quantitative PCR, western blotting, cell-proliferation assays, flow cytometry, cell-cycle analysis, Annexin V/PI staining, reactive oxygen species and lipid-peroxidation measurements, fluorescence microscopy, chromosome imaging, RNA sequencing, ATAC sequencing, ChIP-qPCR, proteomic analysis, LC–MS-based metabolomic profiling, and bioinformatic and statistical analyses.</p><p dir="ltr">These data support the investigation of CENP-A expression and clinical relevance in hepatocellular carcinoma, the effects of CENP-A suppression on tumour-cell fitness and ferroptosis, chromatin-accessibility changes, activation of the tryptophan–AhR–CYP1 pathway, and the response to lenvatinib treatment.</p><p dir="ltr">The folders contain raw or instrument-associated files, processed numerical data, statistical-analysis files, microscopy images, flow-cytometry files, spreadsheets, and exported figure panels. Users should consult the accompanying README, the corresponding Chapter 3 figure legends, and the thesis Methods section for details of experimental groups, sample conditions, data processing, and interpretation.</p><p dir="ltr">Clinical data included in the deposited dataset have been de-identified and contain no personally identifiable information.
