<dc:description>This report describes a training course for police officers held in Kampala, Uganda. The course grew out of the Refugee Law Project, a socio-legal research programme founded to educate police officers, who are often the first point of contact between an asylum seeker and the Ugandan government, as well as to provide legal aid for refugees in Kampala.</dc:description>
