The health of young asylum seekers and refugees in the United Kingdom: reflection from research Forced Migration Online (24276783) Migration, asylum and refugee law FORCED MIGRATION ONLINE REFUGEES ASYLUM SEEKERS CHILDREN YOUTH HEALTH RESEARCH This chapter presents an example of health service research and development aimed at improving the health and well-being of young refugees in the South London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham. The role of practice-led, action orientated research in determining what the needs are, what is already being done to meet existing needs, and what can be done to maximise the strengths and address the weaknesses of existing systems is discussed.
