<dc:description>This report addresses trafficking in persons in Latin America and the Caribbean. The report also recognises that trafficking of children for sexual exploitation is not a homogeneous phenomenon in the region. Children are sexually exploited in a variety of ways, including prostitution, pornography, and the sexual exploitation of child domestic servants. Prostitution also exists in many forms, including what is referred to as "formal" and "informal" forms. The report shows that children work primarily in the informal sectors, where there is less risk of detection and/or legal intervention.</dc:description>
