The evolution of immigration detention in the UK: the involvement of private prison companies Forced Migration Online (24276783) Migration, asylum and refugee law FORCED MIGRATION ONLINE IMMIGRATION PRIVATISATION DETENTION DETENTION OF ASYLUM SEEKERS PRISON CONDITIONS This RSC working paper looks at how the privatisation of immigration detention centres has affected the evolution of the immigration detention regime in the UK. Section 1 contextualises immigration detention centre privatisation in the UK.
