It gathered experts and policy makers from the region in order to create a multidisciplinary and multi-sector resource group aiming to: Explore the state of art of policy discourse at national and regional level in order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the main challenges and opportunities; Explore the chance in the region to generate space for a coherent and continuative policy discourse; Explore the potential drivers, eventual direction and impact on the region of human mobility flows and their implications for policy.
