<dc:description><p dir="ltr">In this project, I focused on the characterization of EBV-infected cell types in EBV-T/NK LPDs patients. First, I used a flow cytometric RNA assay to phenotype the EBV infected cells in our patient cohorts. Then use qPCR to quantify the EBV viral loads in different patient samples. Next, I use different flow cytometric assays to carry out functional and subsets analyses of the patients' T and NK cells, to investigate any distinct deficiency patterns of their immune functions against EBV infection, at different time points, from the time of acute remission, to the long term remission period. </p></dc:description>
