<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This dataset contains site-level bark and ambrosia beetle records and associated forest-condition measurements from 19 white oak-associated forest sites in Iowa sampled between 2022 and 2025. Seven sites were categorized as decline-reported and twelve as no-decline based on field assessments. The site-by-taxon matrix contains 32 taxa and 22,383 pooled captures. Supporting files provide site information, sampling coverage, taxon metadata, geographic coordinates, long-term climate normals, crown-thinning estimates, and lower-bole maternal-gallery measurements. Beetle counts represent pooled site catches; sampling years varied among sites, and counts are not standardized by trap operating time.</p></dc:description>
