<dc:description>
This Figshare dataset contains the tabular data supporting the Data Descriptor entitled “A targeted lipidomic dataset of Tenebrio molitor larvae fed diets with different protein levels.”

The study used whole Tenebrio molitor larvae reared under four dietary treatments: a wheat bran control and three formulated diets containing 15%, 20%, or 25% crude protein. Twenty biological samples were analyzed, with five independent biological replicates per treatment; each biological sample consisted of 30 fasted larvae pooled from one independent rearing tray.

Targeted lipidomic profiling was performed by UPLC–MS/MS using a QTRAP 6500+ platform operated in scheduled multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The initial targeted panel contained 927 lipid entries. After quality-control filtering using a pooled-QC coefficient-of-variation threshold of <30%, 834 lipid features were retained in the final processed dataset. The reported lipid abundance values are internal-standard-normalized semiquantitative concentration estimates rather than validated absolute concentrations.

The deposited data files include: Tenebrio molitor sample metadata and experimental grouping; lipid internal-standard information; LC–MS/MS acquisition sequence; quality-control sample intensities and summary statistics; internal-standard peak-area QC metrics; lipid target list and MRM acquisition parameters; lipid annotation and annotation-confidence information; and the final 834-feature semiquantitative lipid concentration matrix. These files correspond to Tables S1–S8 cited in the manuscript, respectively, and provide the sample metadata, quality-control information, acquisition parameters, quantitative data, and annotation evidence required for interpretation and reuse of the dataset.

Raw LC–MS/MS data in mzML format and associated study metadata are available separately from the MetaboLights repository under accession MTBLS14531.

Users should note that analyte-specific external calibration curves, lower limits of quantification, and linearity ranges were not established for each lipid species; therefore, very low-abundance values should be interpreted with caution and should not be regarded as individually validated absolute concentrations. In addition, six bile-acid entries in the lipid annotation data are retained only as tentative annotations because they were not independently confirmed using exact authentic standards or additional confirmatory transitions.

</dc:description>
