<dc:description>
The above documents pertain to a research project completed in fulfilment of the award of Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy), titled "Peer Victimisation, Rejection Sensitivity and Intolerance of Uncertainty: Testing a Predictive Model of Paranoid Thinking Amongst UK-Dwelling Adolescents". University of Sheffield ethics application number - 066141 (approved). A link to the research report, which provides further contextual information, is included under the 'related materials' section below. Uploaded here is a copy of the dataset (N = 417) pertaining to the research project, with non-finishers of the research survey excluded. Also attached are copies of the analytic output from the main statistical tests run as part of the research project. Analyses were run for the sample excluding those who failed attention checks (404), and including those who failed attention checks (417). The sample each output pertains to is indicated in the file names above. Please see the full research report for further details. Abbreviations included within the attached dataset and outputs are explained below:

-PICS = Perceived Inequalities in Childhood Scale

-PHQ-9 = Patient Health Questionnaire - 9-item (NB: Where 'Recoded based on new scoring' is seen in the dataset and outputs, this relates to the PHQ-9 scores; initially, these were incorrectly scored, but the correct scoring was used in all analyses)

-BCSS = Brief Core Schemas Scale (PS = positive self; NS = negative self; PO = positive other; NO = negative other)

-MPVS-R = Multidimensional Peer Victimisation Scale-Revised

-RS = Rejection sensitivity. ‘RS proxy’ refers to a proxy measure of rejection sensitivity used in addition to the O2S3 below, based on participants’ interpretations of vignettes, whereby the protagonist’s behaviour could be interpreted as benign/positive or motivated by aggression/intent/victimisation. Higher scores represented greater levels of RS

-O2S3 = Online and Offline Social Sensitivity Scale

-IOU (IUSC-12) = Intolerance of uncertainty (Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale for Children - 12 items)

-R-GPTS = Revised Green et al. Paranoid Thoughts Scale

-LSAS-CA-SR = Liebowitz Scale for Children and Adolescents - Self-Report Version
</dc:description>
