Halomonas species were cultured in 96-well plates covered with Aeraseal^TM seal and incubated in CLARIOstar Plus (BMG Labtech). The plates were incubated in different culture conditions at 200 rpm: (A) recommended culture conditions, (B) reference temperature with recommended culture medium, (C) LB medium supplemented with the same salt concentration as recommended culture medium, (D) LB medium supplemented with 8% NaCl (LB80), and (E) LB medium supplemented with 2% NaCl (LB20). Optical density at 600 nm (OD₆₀₀) was measured during the cultivation. Each condition was performed with 6 replicates (n=6).
