Global Linear Trends in Terrestrial Water Storage (TWS) data from CSR GRACE/GRACE-FO RL06.3 Mascon Solutions (January 2003–December 2025)

Description: This dataset provides global gridded linear trends in terrestrial water storage (TWS) derived from the Center for Space Research (CSR) GRACE/GRACE-FO RL06.3 Mascon Solutions (RL0603). The trend values are trimmed to -5 (falling or declining storage) and +5 (rising or increasing storage) cm/year for the visualisation purpose. The full range of linear trends are: -88.97 cm/year to +14.07 cm/year. The original monthly mascon product is distributed by the University of Texas Center for Space Research and represents monthly variations in Earth's water storage derived from satellite gravimetry observations acquired by the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE; 2002–2017) and GRACE Follow-On (GRACE-FO; 2018–present) missions. The RL06.3 release includes updated GRACE-FO processing and standard geophysical corrections, including GIA, degree-1, C20, and C30 corrections.
