<dc:description>In the pursuit of optimizing wind farm performance, much recent research has explored yaw-based wake steering. A small amount of research has considering wake steering via turbine tilt, with promising results. This thesis investigates the potential of tilt-misalignment as a method to enhance power output under varying atmospheric stability. Using high fidelity LES-ALM, the study evaluates turbine wake interactions in both neutral and convective boundary layers. Findings highlight the importance of atmospheric complexity and methodological rigor in assessing the viability of this control strategy for wind energy applications.

Thesis is embargoed until 31 December 2026.</dc:description>
