<dc:description>Women experience many stressful events during the pregnancy and after birth, due to bio-physiological changes, Postnatal women are a group whose mental health was affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Increased stress, together with the restrictive measures that many governments implemented to contain the pandemic posed mental health risks for women and infants and indicated the need for robust psychosocial therapy to support postnatal women. Mindfulness is a way to self-regulate one’s internal and external experiences moment by moment non— judgmentally with a focus attention on the present in a way which helps improve mental health and wellbeing. This study aimed to determine whether mindfulness practices led to lower anxiety levels in postnatal women during the Covid-19 pandemic. <br></dc:description>
