<dc:description>Due to widening participation strategies, increasing numbers of neurodivergent students are accessing higher education. Research suggests that the outcomes for these students are not on par with neurotypical peers, with higher drop-out rates and longer times required to complete a degree. Therefore, it is imperative that higher education institutions implement supports that are socially valid for this group. Using a mixed methods and logic modelling approach, a co-designed support programme was implemented and evaluated in one Irish university. This research showed that for neurodivergent students, social and emotional support was prioritised over academic support for integration to university life.<br></dc:description>
