Temporal analysis of clinico-pathological variables and biomarkers in cancer Sophia Halliday (16012230) PUREID: 439330591 Blood biomarkers are commonly used in many cancers to help diagnose disease or predict survival. However, these biomarkers are often dichotomised to facilitate easy analysis and interpretation. This categorisation removes a vast amount of information, particularly either side of the enforced boundaries, which otherwise could give improved insights into the prognosis of individuals.
