<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This dataset contains the experimental data, molecular dynamics simulation files, and analysis scripts associated with the study of gas-bubble friction on submerged solid surfaces. The research combines atomic force microscopy (AFM)-based force measurements and molecular dynamics simulations to investigate how surface wettability, nanostructure, surface chemistry, sliding velocity, and gas composition influence bubble friction. The results reveal that bubble friction emerges only after film-mediated contact-line formation and is governed primarily by contact-line dissipation. Gas-specific friction is further linked to intermolecular interactions at the moving three-phase boundary. These data support the findings reported in the associated manuscript and provide resources for reproducing the simulations and analyses.</p></dc:description>
