<dc:description>
The data here was generated during the study "Subjective effects of flicker light are not influenced by eye condition". In this study, participants completed two 10-minute tasks in counterbalanced order: a 15 Hz white flicker with white noise and a passive rest task. After each task, participants rated aspects of their experience.

Survey data ("SEFL_survey_data.csv") includes ratings of experienced visual and auditory imagery, altered consciousness, relaxation and sleepiness. It also includes free text responses of participants describing their flicker experience. Text files are present for each participant, containing data from skin conductance recordings ("SEFL_SCL_data.zip").

Additionally, this repository holds R scripts used to analyse the data ("SEFL_behavioural_analysis.r" and "SEFL_SCL_plotting_analysis.rmd") and HTML used to play full-screen videos on Qualtrics ("SEFL_Qualtrics_HTML.txt").
</dc:description>
