<dc:description><p dir="ltr">Retinal artery-vein segmentation has emerged as an important task in medical image analysis, given the close associations between retinal vascular parameters and a wide range of systemic biomarkers and health outcomes. Although several public datasets have been established, important gaps remain due to the lack of pediatric data and the scarcity of ultra-widefield (UWF) fundus imaging, a novel modality capable of capturing richer features across a broader field of view. In this study, we present a Pediatric Ultra-Widefield Fundus image dataset for Artery-Vein segmentation (PUWF-AV), comprising 60 UWF fundus images annotated for artery-vein segmentation by professional ophthalmologists. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first UWF fundus image dataset for artery-vein segmentation in a pediatric population. Technical validation demonstrates the reliability of the dataset, highlighting its potential to advance the development of artery-vein segmentation methods for UWF fundus images in children.</p></dc:description>
