<dc:description>
Analysed datasets on body donors (#01–#14)

The analyses are based on imaging datasets from fourteen body donors (#01–#14), including MRI- and CT-derived segmentation masks, anatomical markers, and quantitative measurements. The original data can be requested for scientific purposes but are not freely accessible due to data protection and ethical requirements related to human body donor data.

MRI muscle mask data (
mask*.nii.gz
)

MRI-based segmentation masks defining the spatial extent of skeletal muscle tissue. We used these masks to analyse muscle volume, morphology, and spatial distribution.

MRI muscle measurements (
*distance.nii.gz
&
*thickness.nii.gz
)

Quantitative MRI-derived measurements describing muscle distances and muscle thickness. These datasets were used to assess muscle morphology and spatial relationships between anatomical structures.

MRI bone mask data (
*Segmentation-Bones.nii.gz
)

MRI-based segmentation masks of skeletal structures. These data provide the anatomical reference required for analyses of bone location and muscle–bone relationships.

MRI marker data (
*.mrk
)

Anatomical marker files containing predefined spatial reference points within the MRI datasets. The markers supported reproducible anatomical localisation and quantitative measurements.

CT bone mask data (
*Segmentation_1-bone-label.nii.gz
&
*Segmentation_2-bone-label.nii.gz
)

CT-derived bone segmentation masks providing detailed representations of the skeletal structures. These datasets were used to analyse bone morphology and bone–bone spatial relationships.

The combined MRI and CT datasets provide the basis for the quantitative analysis of muscle, fat, and bone characteristics across body donors #01–#14.
</dc:description>
