<dc:description>
This repository contains the source code, representative input datasets, and processed outputs associated with the manuscript:

"Renewable subsidy portfolios for hydropower and variable renewables shape system-level decarbonization."

The repository implements the Integrated Subsidy–Expansion–Dispatch Framework (ISEDF), a MATLAB-based modelling framework that couples CMIP6 climate projections, hydrological simulations, renewable-capacity expansion optimization, and carbon-emission assessment to evaluate long-term decarbonization outcomes under alternative renewable-subsidy portfolios.

The repository includes:

• Climate and load projection modules;
• Hydropower, wind, and solar capacity-expansion optimization models;
• Carbon-emission assessment modules;
• Representative input datasets;
• Processed outputs used to generate manuscript figures and tables.

To maintain a manageable repository size while preserving reproducibility, one representative CMIP6 climate realization (TaiESM1, SSP245) is provided together with the complete modelling workflow. Additional climate realizations and simulation outputs are available from the authors upon reasonable request.
</dc:description>
