The aim of this material is to provide simple and everyday illustrations and exercises to make learners more aware of the impact and importance of tax in society in the United Kingdom and globally – today, in the past, and for the future. The material consists of six lessons which build on each other, providing a comprehensive resource for teaching on tax. However, each lesson works as an independent module and schools can select to deliver just one, or several, in any order. The individual exercises within each lesson can also serve as stand-alone activities. The themes of the lessons link up to a range of curriculum topics.
