<dc:description>
Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a widely used non-invasive method for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. ECG signal characteristics vary markedly across age groups, with pediatric recordings differing substantially from those of adults. Establishing a reliable baseline for defining a “normal” pediatric ECG across developmental stages is essential prior to designing algorithms for abnormality detection. Existing ECG databases are predominantly composed of adult data and lack comprehensive age stratification, while a few pediatric ECG database are only from hospitalized children, resulting in a scarcity of large-scale, publicly available pediatric datasets that accurately reflect typical cardiac physiology of children. To address this gap, we present a large-scale, standardized pediatric normal ECG dataset comprising recordings from children aged 0-6 years. The dataset was compiled from a larger collection acquired at the Children’s Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, between 2019 and 2023. It includes 58,672 standardized 12-lead ECG recordings, each 10 seconds in duration and sampled at 500 Hz, all annotated as “NORM” by experienced pediatric cardiologists. This resource aimed to serve as a high-quality reference baseline for pediatric ECG research and algorithm development.

Please apply the rawdata at http://pecg.nbscn.org

</dc:description>
