This dataset contains raw bibliographic information compiled to support a systematic review of acoustic environment and soundscape studies in urban courtyard settings. Provided in CSV format, the dataset presents the initial search results for 91 studies included in the review, alongside associated author keywords and indexed keywords.

Data were systematically collected following a structured review protocol, including clearly defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, keyword-based database searches, and a multi-stage screening process. Extracted information was standardised and organised into a unified framework to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and comparative analysis across studies.

This dataset was developed as part of the PhD research project titled “Soundscape Design for Urban Courtyards Toward the Optimal Physical Environment and Energy Performance.” The broader research investigates the complex relationships between restorative soundscapes, environmental exposures, and resource consumption in semi-public urban environments. Findings from this systematic review are currently being developed into a peer-reviewed journal article and a conference paper.
