<dc:description>
Borderlinks 1: This is the first of three performance pieces which repeats a process of exploring how a feminist informed praxis of drawing can lead to new interpretations of Molly Bloom. Molly is the main female character in Ulysses - James Joyce's canonical modernist novel published in 1922. This is a practice-based approach using drawing as a research process - this performance piece is presented as drawing in the expanded field. The drawings generated are present in the performance space inspired by Bracha L Ettinger's matrixial theory. The drawings are on the wall behind as transtext objects and are 1. Theoretical Text from The Matrixial Borderspace in a drawing process 2. Molly's soliloquy from James Joyce's Ulysses is presented through a drawing process. The sodabreadbookobject is described separately as part of this research and is the third element containing text present in the performance space.

© the author

</dc:description>
