<dc:description><p dir="ltr">The present dataset uses a method known as Continuous Feature Information Transmission Analysis (C-FITA) to estimate information about acoustic cues preserved in the electrical stimulus signal. The present dataset investigates the preservation of F1 and F2, since these are well known to be distorted by the processor. Percentage F1 (left column) and F2 (right column) information preserved, averaged across 12 speakers, in quiet (red) and noise at 10 dB SNR (green) and 0 dB SNR (blue) at stage 4 as a function of m. A channel-picking strategy (diamonds) with n = 8 was used for m = 22, and a fixed-channel strategy (circles) with n = m was used for m less than 22.</p></dc:description>
