<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This package provides MATLAB code and supporting input datasets for assessing and mitigating land-use conflicts between urban expansion and photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy deployment in China from 2030 to 2060. The workflow identifies potential spatial overlaps under the STEPS, APS and NZE pathways, estimates rooftop and facade PV potential, and evaluates land-use trade-offs using a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-informed framework. A sequential redeployment model compares national and local-first strategies, with and without distributed PV, to compensate for affected renewable-electricity generation and quantify associated costs. Joint uncertainty analysis evaluates the effects of urban-expansion assumptions, SDG scoring and weighting schemes, and techno-economic parameters. The code, input datasets and documentation support reproducible assessment of renewable-energy deployment, land-use priorities and coordination costs.</p></dc:description>
