No changes were made to the published journal article.</p><p dir="ltr"><br></p><p dir="ltr">This study found that proline is an effective metabolite capable of entering the pyruvate/TCA cycle through metabolic processes, reversing serum resistance of <i>Klebsiella pneumoniae</i> both in vitro and in vivo.
