The uploaded file is the dataset for our manuscript titled "Elliptical Core Multimode Fibers for Reduced DSP Complexity in Coherent Optical Transmission", which is submitted for publication in the Journal of Lightwave Technology 2025. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of elliptical core fibers using the vector finite difference mode solver. MATLAB software is used to conduct the extensive numerical simulations discussed in the manuscript. The uploaded data can be used to replot all the figures in the submitted manuscript. The manuscript discusses the reduction in differential mode delay, intra-mode group crosstalk, and equalization complexity with ovality.
