<dc:description>
The uploaded dataset contains six sub-folders:

1. Gene expression analysis, where we show the raw data of Ct values of target gene and house-keeping genes of different RNAi treatments and sexes; different developmental stages.

2. CHC profile analysis, where we show the absolute concentrations of all chemical compounds identified in males and females of different treatments; different developmental stages.

3. Mating behavior assay, where we provide the data of males' mating behavior toward freeze-killedfemales from control and fas3 RNAi treatments.

4.Desiccation assay , where we show the survival of wasps of different treatments, under different desiccation stresses.

5.Transcriptomic analysis, where we provide the quality control metrics for RNAseq data. The sequences of RNAseq data was uploaded to NCBI, with a Bioproject number: PRJNA1054019.

6.Fas gene tree and protein domain analysis, where we provide the fas alignment and tree constrcution files.

Detailed information can be found in the associated manuscript.
</dc:description>
