(2024), "Public preferences of environmental peacebuilding: The case of forest conservation projects in Colombia", Environment and Security 2(4), 568-598. https://doi.org/10.1177/27538796241241581</p><p dir="ltr">A nationally representative online survey was fielded in Colombia 22-30 July 2021 by Netquest, drawing on its Colombian panel (103,000 members at the time). Quotas were set on gender, age, geography, socioeconomic level and region for the population aged 18+. Two manipulation checks were embedded; respondents who failed either were excluded. 1,504 respondents completed the survey — above the 1,066 required for a 3% margin of error at 95% confidence.</p><p dir="ltr">Each respondent completed three choice tasks, selecting between two fictitious forest conservation projects in an area where the FARC had committed violent acts — giving 9,024 profile-level observations.
